Todd A. Mackenzie, MS, LNFA, has served for more than 20 years in leadership roles at healthcare facilities in Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and most recently in Wimberley.
Throughout his career, he has developed interdisciplinary teams focused on improving quality of care and services in Texas rehabilitation healthcare facilities. During his tenure at Deer Creek of Wimberley, he also led the development of extensive rehabilitation programs for short-term rehabilitation and outpatient services. He is well known for his skills in recruiting and retaining top quality staff, utilizing a system of management by values that empowers and motivates staff for exemplary customer service.
In 2007, Mackenzie was named a Future Leader of Long Term Care in America by the American Health Care Association and was also the recipient of the CEO Round Table “Best of the Best Award.” In 2001, he was named the Texas Health Care Association’s Administrator of the Year.
Mackenzie holds undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of North Texas and currently serves as a senior lecturer at Texas State University, College of Health Professions.
